Between the Super League, Harimau Malaya and the Premier League, Malaysian football fans have a lot of fixtures to track. Here’s a simple phone setup for the 2026/27 season.
Get alerts from a live score app
FotMob, Sofascore and Flashscore all cover the Malaysia Super League and Harimau Malaya. They’re the quickest way to get goal alerts and live scores on the move.
Follow only your club and the national team, and switch off alerts for leagues you never watch. The trade-off is depth: Malaysian football is one league among hundreds there, so local news and context are thin.
Check scores straight from Google
For a ten-second check, search the team’s name, such as Johor Darul Ta’zim. Google often shows a scores card at the top with the latest result and the next match.
Bookmark a local site for fixtures and news
StraitScore puts Malaysian football first. It covers the Super League, Malaysia Cup, FA Cup and Harimau Malaya, plus the Premier League and Europe. Fixtures, results and tables update automatically.
You also get match reports and transfer news, with English and Bahasa Melayu sections written separately rather than translated.
There’s no app to install. On an iPhone, tap Share in Safari, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap the three-dot menu in Chrome, then Add to Home screen.
Follow FAM and MFL for tickets
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) runs the national team, while the Malaysian Football League (MFL) runs the Super League and domestic cups. Turn on notifications for their posts. When tickets go on sale, buy only through the links they share, as fake offers often appear on social media.
Stream legally
Pirate streaming sites are packed with pop-ups, fake “update your player” prompts and downloads that can carry malware. Watch through each competition’s official broadcaster instead, and keep your phone’s software updated.
Set it up once and you won’t miss a kick-off, wherever you are.
