Surely we all have heard of wireless charging capabilities when it came to Nexus 4 users and even Nokia Lumia lovers. In case you didn’t know, it charges your phone by placing your device on a charging pad (or a mat) and it will then charge your phone. The science behind it however works pretty similar to the NFC, where an electrical current is induced from the charging pad to your phone, which explains the short distance in the wireless-ness. Who knows that Qualcomm will bring in the future?
