REDMAGIC Malaysia has announced the arrival of the new 8S PRO poised to take over the scene with its gamer-centric performance and design.
Since the specs sheet will do the phone justice in a moment, let’s focus on the unique offerings instead. To start, the internal cooling system is now the ICE 12.0 cooling solution packed with an enlarged VC cooling plate, a brand new duct structure, a 20,000 RPM cooling fan, and a layer of graphene under the screen.
Other than that, the dedicated gaming chip Red Core 2 aims to provide the most responsive input through the set of shoulder triggers operating at 520Hz.
Additionally, one may find the HDMI Out and USB-C port with REDMAGIC Studio super useful for screencasting games onto larger displays with high refresh rates – particularly the 120Hz low latency mode.
The external design is a mixed bag of 3D nano etching for the Midnight and Platinum models while the Aurora edition rocks a special transparent back for more style points.
Users can also get strong feedback through the dual X-Axis linear motor for that extra rumble umph with the rest of the package containing everything that will make a mobile gamer’s day.
