Roborock’s participation at IFA 2023 showcased a lot of new products that they are preparing to launch this year so let’s take a quick look at them.

Roborock IFA (1)

For their bread and butter department, the robot vacuum portfolio sees the addition of the new Q5 Pro and Q8 Max.

In terms of similarity, both of them are equipped with LiDAR-based sensors that can create a detailed map of their environment to generate the most efficient cleaning routine alongside other customization features like No-Go Zones, scheduling, and more.

They are also equipped with a dual concurrent system of vacuum and mopping mechanism that quickly relieves any kind of dirt or debris that stands in their way.

If needed, the RockDock Plus auto-emptying dock-included Q5 Pro+ and Q8 Max+ can help you store up to 7 days of dirty stuff without manual emptying.

As for the difference, the higher tier Q8 Max comes with a better Obstacle Avoidance System that is “smarter” to avoid more things in general.

Those who like to take up the cleaning job on their own can look forward to the Dyad Pro Combo that allows you to play “Transformer” with it.

It is a wet-dry vacuum at its core but has the ability to morph into a handheld vacuum using 4 additional attachments.

Depending on the attachment, you can clean more types of messes from wet and dry messes to simple vacuuming of large open spaces down to places like corner edges and hard-to-reach places like under the sofa.

The 17,000Pa suction power easily takes in anything it comes into contact with after the mess has been sprayed with a cleaning solution and scrubbed.

Also, skip the post-cleaning maintenance thanks to the self-cleaning system that cleans the roller brushes before blasting it with 50℃ of hot air.

Battery-wise, it can operate for up to 43 minutes when used as a wet-dry vacuum or 60 minutes in handheld mode.

IFA 2023 also served as Roborock’s first announcement of venturing into the world of washing machines. In this case, the Zeo One does more than just washing clothes but also drying them.

Equipped with a quiet and power-saving DD Motor, it can efficiently wash up to 10kg and dry up to 6kg of fabric with ease.

Scared of your expensive clothes shrinking or having their texture damaged? Fear not, the in-house Zeo-cycle drying tech with AI algorithm and NTC smart sensors will learn and gear towards your preference to help you eliminate that worry.

It also comes with Roborock LintClear Self Cleaning System that smartly clears out the lint filter so you’ll skip that as well as full “smart home” control via the Roborock app.
