Roborock Malaysia has revealed that they are bringing in the new Q8 Max robot vacuum – the second member in the Q family, and are offering a preorder price for a limited time.
The Q8 Max offers itself as a value buy due to it being capable of doing vacuuming and mopping at the same time thanks to the “dustbin + electronic water tank” combo sitting within it.
The drawer-type design makes it super easy to clear out the bin while refilling the tank in one cycle of opening and closing.
The dual rubber brush picks up dust and dirt like no tomorrow while being decently resistant against hair tangles. With 5500 suction power, it can tackle different types of flooring with ease.
On the other hand, the PreciSense LiDAR Navigation system ensures the unit finds optimal routes for cleaning the home while avoiding anything in its path accurately.
The scanned map of the house interior is then passed to the Roborock mobile app where the usual settings like No-Go Zones, Quick Mapping, Multi-Level Mapping, 3D Mapping, and more can be found.
Additionally, they have updated the app to now include Deep Carpet Cleaning, Clean Along Floor Direction, and Smart Suggestion for No-Go Zones for a more intuitive and perhaps “smart home-like” experience.
