ROG Malaysia has launched the newly enhanced ROG Cetra TWS gaming earbuds that are rocking the renowned SpeedNova proprietary connection.
Although it is still fundamentally a 2.4GHz-based connection, the SpeedNova has proved itself many times in keyboards and mice that offer matching if not less latency than wired counterparts so definitely nice to see that tech is now coming to the audio department.
But you’ll still need to use the dongle to enjoy SpeedNova which if you think isn’t worth your time for that moment like you just need some music for some workout, then just connect via Bluetooth as usual which by the way, you can just have dual connected device with each connection type at once.
As for the sound, it is capable of LC3+ codec that delivers 24-bit/96kHz under 2.4GHz mode while Dirac Opteo helps optimization under the hood that gives out more accurate audio.
Additionally, it has Adaptive ANC to keep unwanted cues away which ROG themselves also promotes the Auto Mode to let the software decide how much ANC you need at any given time.
Lastly, the AI Noise Cancelling microphone will make sure your teammate can hear you loud and clear in-game while battery life is set to be 46 hours maximum inclusive of the case.
Oh yeah, the Armoury Crate app is ready to serve the new Cetra with Aura RGB lighting customizations, EQ adjustments, ANC toggle, and more.
