Samsung has released a new tier of memory products for professional content creators who want the very best. Entering the new PRO Ultimate series.
Coming in form factors of microSD and full-size SD, they utilize the UHS-I interface to deliver reads and writes of up to 200MB/s and 130MB/s respectively at such sizes.
Heavy-duty recordings like 4K resolution or high frame rate FHD videos are no problem as well thanks to Video Speed Class 30 (V30) support.
Those who work with a bunch of small files will get similar speeds and experiences due to the Application Performance Class 2 (A2) rating of high random IOPS performance.
They even come with an Error Correction Code (ECC) engine and multi-proof protection powered by the highly efficient 28nm controller while the doubling of the capacity in the Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) engine extends the write-and-erase cycles to new highs.
In terms of raw physical durability, it can soak water for up to 72 hours in a 2m depth or get dropped up to 5m without a sweat while shock protection can be tanked as large as 1,500g.
Temperature? -25°C to 85°C. Snowing or burning you can still record your stuff.
