Hailing from the land of freedom, Tivoli Audio has officially entered Malaysia through a local distribution partnership to offer fellow Malaysians the chance to experience their range of audio products that are not blatantly overpriced.
This retro design audio is the brand’s first product back then that is known as the Model One BT with AM/FM + Bluetooth connection support and various interfaces to connect things like headphones and antennas.
The speaker grill and radio knob really strike the oldies era and if you’re in the recent Fallout TV show craze like I do, this might check your boxes as well.
On the other hand, the SongBook adapts a boombox-like design that contains strong audio dual speaker output that can operate up to 10 hours at max volume (Yes, the portable battery is that strong).
Coupled with the fact that also contains an internal amp, you can plug in like a guitar or pedal, making travel bands’ lives easier in general. There’s also the EQ panel on the front for quick adjustment.
And like the former, it has a Bluetooth connection as well.
If you need even a stronger output plus AM/FM support, then the SongBook Max will fill in that shoe for you thanks to the extra drivers pumping out even better quality audio in general while maintaining the same baseline features like the standard version.
Like your speaker real small? Then perhaps the PAL BT is your thing. Functionality-wise, it is more or less the same as the Model One so you can treat it as a miniature version of that model.
But it does come with a variety of color options though so definitely more of an early 2000s vibes rather than the 1970s.
Lastly, we have the Model One Digital Gen 2 on the left which has the knob directly integrated as part of the design in the form of the screen’s circle frame. On the right side, that’s the Model Two Digital that was given a rather unique “oops! just all speaker grill” type look but hey, simple is best sometimes.
