vivo Malaysia started off 2024 with a brand new release by adding the new X100 and X100 Pro to the flagship smartphone family.
If you wanna say that the X100 series is unique then there’s no denying that the circular back camera bump is what draws the attention of fellow guests of the launch event.
Still continuing the partnership with ZEISS, the X100 Pro features a 50MP ZEISS 1-inch Main Camera, a 50MP ZEISS APO Floating Telephoto Camera, and a 50MP Super Wide-Angle Camera.
Specifically the APO Floating Telephoto Camera, it is your “close up / long distance” dedicated hardware that runs the new Vario-Apo-Sonnar standards from ZEISS plus Floating Elements Design for superior image quality across various scenarios.
The Pro model even utilizes Optical Precision Calibration for additional sharpness and quality consistency alongside SLR-level image stabilization.
On the other hand, the base X100 is still pretty good with a combo of 50MP VCS True Color Main Camera, 64MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera, and 50MP Super Wide-Angle Camera.
Both of them use ZEISS T* Coating for anti-reflection plus accurate color reproduction.
But that’s not all, they are equipped with the in-house vivo V2 (base) /V3 (Pro) video-processing chip that further refines portrait photography and videography, essentially turning the device into a piece of industrial-level equipment without sacrificing portability.
Notable features include ZEISS Multifocal Professional Photography enabling up to 100mm of focal length shots, and ZEISS B-Speed Style Bokeh which is a unique bokeh effect taking inspiration from the 1970s.
