There are two recent statistical studies that showed what Windows Phone did to the world since its release. The first study here shows that the Windows Phone platform got a big success – clouding over sales of the long-existing Apple iPhone in developing countries, where smartphones aren’t that common.
The countries where Windows Phone’s sales chart clouded over the Apple iPhone is :
- Argentina!
- India!
- Poland!
- Russia!
- South Africa!
- Ukraine!
- A market IDC identifies as “the rest of Central and Eastern Europe,”
Other than that, there are also graphs of the sales of Windows Phone in the smartphone mobile market in developing countries – the States, Italy, Germany, just to name a few.
It’s amazing to see that Windows Phone – being a late player in the smartphone world – still has a chance not just to survive, but to make a dent in the entire market sales graph.
But what the seems to be the problem? The apps, as usual. There aren’t much choices available for the Windows Phone OS, but then again, a few useful, practical and beautiful app can fulfil the entire market of a few million apps combined.
