Lenovo Malaysia has finally unveiled their new Virtual Reality (VR) technology devices to the Malaysia market. Their new TheaterMax devices provide a new entertainment experience that you’ll never get on any smartphones in the market. These TheaterMax devices also include a built-in Dolby ATMOS® sound system for better cinematic experience.
What makes the TheaterMax difference from any other VR devices is that it supports to virtually everything that run on the devices. It means including your photos, regular videos, or even games. The devices have a VR mode where the phone display will be split into two identical image that rendered into 3D-ish style when you use the VR headset.
As of now, there are only two devices that support TheaterMax, their new VIBE X3 and K4 Note. Both devices have nearly identical build and size, with almost nearly similar function as well. However, under the hood both devices run on a different SOC altogether. Here’s the specs comparison for both devices.
You can grab one of these devices at any retailers that sell Lenovo phones. The RRP for the VIBE X3 and VIBE K4 Note are RM1,899 and RM999. As of now, the VIBE X3 only comes in Pearl White but the VIBE K4 Note comes in Matte White and Matte Black.
