We’ve seen Logitech bringing up some of the best iPad accessories in the past – but now they’re back, and it made my jaw drop. They announced 2 new cases for the iPads.
Type+
First one being the Logitech Type+. It’s a Bluetooth keyboard-cum-case for the recently-announced iPad Air 2, and it does so in a very beautifully elegant way. You might think hey – what if I don’t want to use the keyboard and just scroll through contents?
Got you covered (pun intended) too. It can be collapsed into a basic flip-case, but still giving you that little angle for better usage. Also, the keyboard itself is clever enough to have an automatic on/off feature – as it activates only when on typing position.
The Logitech Type+ for the iPad Air 2 is available in Black and Bright Red, and is retailing for RM299, starting from mid-December 2014.
AnyAngle & Hinge
This is the one category of cases which I think that the Surface Pro nailed it even on its first generation, but iPad accessories took 3 years (!!!) to come out with only one accessory that does the simplest thing – a kickstand.
I think all you need is just one image to describe what the AnyAngle does entirely. The AnyAngle acts as a kickstand and also a protective case, which providing a thin look to it. Also available in multiple colours to suit your style!
As for the Hinge, it’s a flip-book-case for the original iPad Air and it comes with fabric so that the case wouldn’t slip around. On the inside however, it’s also made out of another material to provide grip to the iPad to stand.
The AnyAngle is for the iPad Air 2, whereas the Hinge is for the iPad Air. Most important feature – they’re both spill resistant. The AnyAngle retails for RM189 and the Hinge retails for RM139, and they are both expected to be available in Malaysia in mid-December, just in time for your perfect Christmas gift.
