Here’s the summary on what Huawei did recently on and prior to MWC 2015.
Chronologically before MWC 2015, Huawei achieved over 400Mbps over wireless connection at Wembley Stadium in a live test. This is no joke – the fastest 4G connection available, yet packed at such a dense place when at match is ongoing.
EE mobile network, Huawei, and Qualcomm also showcased multiple 4K videos on multiple screens with lossless audio. Just wow.
On MWC 2015, Huawei was quick and swift to boast all of their latest and best – the MediaPad X2, TalkBand B2 and TalkBand N1, and the Huawei Watch.

To keep things short – here are brief summaries of what they are.
- MediaPad X2 – 7-inch ultra HD IPS screen and a slim body of only 7.28 mm, an ultra octa-core chipset, making it the first 64-bit ultra octa-core, 4G-enabled LTE dual-sim phablet.
- TalkBand B2 – business-like professional design of a smart fitness tracking device
- TalkBank N1 – first Hi-Fi stereo + Bluetooth headset, has 4GB of storage, Bluetooth calling and sports tracking
- Huawei Watch – 1.4-inch circular AMOLED smartwatch, scratch and water proof, has health tracking functions and advanced heartrate monitor, 6-axis sensors, barometer, touch motor, built-in microphone
Then, Huawei surprised us with an innovative product called the CarFi. It’s a piece of hardware that is stuck onto the cigarette lighter and get LTE Cat4 speeds out of it from the car, in a plug-and-play basis. Also, it has a WiFi hotspot capability. This means two things :
- Get up to 150Mbps for 10 devices
- Able to share between friends and family instantly
- All cars that have a cigarette lighter is compatible

The only thing I’m interested in – the prices, which we have none. We will have to stay tune and wait for future announcements, hopefully soon!
