In case you didn’t know, the Logitech G502 Proteus Core from last year got updated – and now it’s called the G502 Protus Spectrum. As the name suggests, it has RGB lighting!
It’s not a really huge update other than the RGB lighting though – everything else looks the same, but as we know, looks doesn’t tell the whole story.
The removable weight is still there, the fantastically ergonomic shape is still there, and the mouse is still having the same colour scheme and button placement.
The obvious difference here is of course, the LED colour.
It seems like Logitech just slapped in some subtle LED lights and bump it up by RM90, as the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum costs RM369, while the blue-only G502 Proteus Core costs RM279 at the recommended retail price. Seriously Logitech, why?
