As many of you might know, I had fun with the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017). It’s a phone that I genuinely had ideas on how to take advantage of its features to do something new. Today, I’m going to show you what I  did with the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) – underwater photography.

Now, hear me out here. Underwater photography is experimental. I just tried it with whatever I can find in the house, and manipulate the effects created. In fact, I don’t think that calling it “underwater photography” is the correct definition – more like “surface-level water photography” at best. They stay independent!

You can even have the camera positioned at the same level of the water surface to create some even more effects too. I have no idea what all these effects are called, by the way.

At certain angles, the subject can have half of its body hidden too. This, again, creates another effect that only these cameras which are capable of doing underwater photography is able to do.

At this point, I believe that if you have more fancy-looking containers and whatever that is transparent and can hold water without leaking, you got yourself a unique picture filter. It’s definitely an experiment I thought would be boring, but turned out to be something eye-opening to a whole new world of creativity.

Have you gotten yourself a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) or Galaxy A7 (2017) yet? They both have the same 16MP f/1.9 camera and they’re both water-resistant too!
