LG is welcoming 2017 with two of their brand new innovations – the LG OLED B6 and the LG 600L Mega Capacity Side-by-side refrigerator! Let’s talk about both of these innovations separately.
LG OLED B6
The LG OLED B6 TV is a new edition to the award-winning OLED TV line-up that meets both Dolby Vision and HDR10 standards. LG’s OLED B6 heightens consumers HDR viewing experience due to its infinite contrast ratio feature and wider colour gamut for a greater cinematic experience.
As many of you might have already know, OLED panels produces colours individually in the pixel level, and each pixel will have its own red, green, and blue colours. Also, the LG OLED B6 supports HDR10 standards – which means 10-bit colour depth.
What it truly means to us consumers however, is simply. 10-bit colour depth means it will have 1,024 different brightness of red, green, or blue colour on each individual pixel.
Funnily enough, there’s a door-in-door function, as shown in the image above. This feature adds an energy saving function that allows consumers quick access to their favourite snacks and beverages conveniently while saving up to 41% cold air loss without having to open the main refrigerator door. Consumers can now have a more organized refrigerator with a maximum energy saving ability.
And as the name suggests, this fridge has 600 liters of capacity. Pretty neat!
