It’s a great day for us gamers here in Malaysia today, as Samsung’s effort to expand into the gaming scene has spread to Malaysia! The Samsung CFG70 combines Samsung’s prominence in display technology, and combine it with what we gamers know and love. PindaPanda approves this monitor too. Here are the details.
The Samsung CFG70 is a quantum dot display, and it comes in two different variants – a 24-inch and another 27-inch model. Both of these cover 125% of the sRGB spectrum, with a contrast of 3,000:1, together with a cadmium-free design.
Samsung calls the CFG70’s design as “Super Arena”, where it has a 1,800R curvature and a massive 178-degree viewing angle. And let’s talk about that stand and hinge design! It’s just beautiful!
Other than that, the Samsung CFG70 has top-notch specs for a gaming monitor too. It has a quick 1ms response time and 144Hz refresh rate, and even has AMD FreeSync technology over HDMI.
However, not all are rainbows and flowers with the Samsung CFG70, as it has a 16:9 aspect ratio with 1080p resolution with a pretty steep price. The 24-inch model is retailing for RM 1,699, whereas the 27-inch model retails for RM 2,099.
Samsung is generous enough to have a promotion going on now too. Be the first 100 customers to pre-order either sizes of the Samsung CFG70 from now until the 26th of January 2017, and you’ll get free gifts up to RM264.
