After many, many teasers and slow release of details of the gift pack and how to get it, the OPPO F9 Starry Purple is finally official in Malaysia now! OPPO is working with Shiseido, the cosmetic brand, to bring you the OPPO F9 Starry Purple as a limited edition smartphone.
The OPPO F9 was originally released in two gradient colors when we had our first look – Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue. The gradient color is something unique that OPPO brought to the table, and is proven to be something that resonates with its customers as the OPPO F9 is a hot-selling device.
To continue that momentum, OPPO Malaysia brings in the F9 Starry Purple – another beautiful smartphone that mimics the deep far space with stardust and stars, cosmic glowing colors. It is the first in the industry that uses two spraying methods which are bead powder and optical coating.
At the OPPO F9 Starry Purple launch event, OPPO had their celebrity ambassador squad – Taiwanese superstar Hebe Tien and Malaysia’s songbird Ayda Jebat to appear and show off the OPPO F9 Starry Purple.
The OPPO F9 Starry Purple also comes with a gift box – which you’ll get Shiseido Rouge Rouge lipstick in Primrose Sun (RS419) worth RM108 and a flash makeup service card that allows customers to experience a makeup service that Shiseido exclusively designed for OPPO F9 Starry Purple, there are two types of make up choices either Romantic Daily Look or Chic and Cool Night look. This is done in collaboration with Shiseido, the cosmetic brand.
The F9 comes with an impressive 6.3-inch screen that features a resolution of 2340×1080 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, together with a very tiny notch that they’re calling the “waterdrop notch”. The OPPO F9 also comes with VOOC Flash Charge.
Priced at RM1,399, the limited edition OPPO F9 x Shiseido Starry Purple gift box is available now exclusively at OPPO’s e-commerce partner, Lazada online store.
