There are actually a sh*t tonne of things to cover by Microsoft since their announcement about 12 hours ago with the brand new slew of Surface devices and also their brand new Lumia devices to go along with a smartband too.
Surface Book
Meet the all new convertible laptop by Microsoft. Surprisingly, this is their first real laptop. The original Surface series of devices is a tablet, mind you.
The Surface Book is a godsend for those who want an ultrathin laptop with supreme performance on the go. How is this possible?
Take a look at what that has been included. There’s a PixelSense display actually a 3000×2000 pixel screen under at 13.5-inch size. That said, it sports a 3:2 aspect ratio – it’s squarish in space instead of the usual rectangle 16:9 shape.91). Insane prices, but interesting device!
Surface Pro 4
Ahhh… the pioneer of these ultraportable tablet-laptops which I personally really love. We even reviewed the Surface 3 right here! The Surface Pro 4 comes with some really powerful performance now, and actually has a buttload of pixels too.
It has the all new PixelSense display, but with 2736×1824 pixels while still maintaining the 3:2 aspect ratio and the individually calibrated 100% sRGB.
However there is an option to choose different processors too – from Intel core m3 with HD 515 graphics, to a Core i5 with HD 520 graphics, and finally to a Core i7 with the top in class Iris 540 graphics. Also option to choose the RAM from 4GB to 8GB to 16GB. Wow!
Power consumption is expected to be low – since the included charger only gives 24 watts for the Core m3 version, and 36 watts for both the Core i5 and Core i7 versions.
Seems like the Surface Pen is now included with the Surface too. And a new pen holder – like finally!
