Good news for anyone setting up a kitchen or replacing a worn-out appliance: MR D.I.Y. just introduced 13 new home appliances and lowered prices on selected items. The move builds on a category that’s clearly working for the retailer, with more than 900,000 home appliances sold over the past two years.
The new lineup covers everyday kitchen, cleaning, and personal care needs, including electric kettles, rice cookers, slow cookers, steam irons, hair dryers, and vacuum cleaners, in a mix of designs, materials, and features.
Prices start at RM27.90 for an electric kettle, RM39 for a steam iron, RM53 for a rice cooker, RM27.90 for a hair dryer, and RM79 for a vacuum cleaner. MR D.I.Y. has also cut prices on selected appliances, including kettles, rice cookers, and hair dryers, as part of its Always Low Prices promise.
Affordable doesn’t mean skimping on safety. The electric kettle has automatic shut-off plus dry-boil and overheat protection; the rice cooker comes with a scratch-resistant, coating-free aluminum inner pot and thermal overload protection, and the steam iron offers adjustable temperature control, self-cleaning, and overheat protection. All appliances carry SIRIM certification and a one-year warranty, and you can pick them up through MR D.I.Y.’s nationwide store network.
