Breaking news for those who are searching for a brand new smartphone – there’s new light shed on the new Samsung Galaxy A Series that they’ve been teasing for the past week – which we’ve talked about it here.
From those two images alone, we predicted a few things – firstly, the new smartphone will be waterproof. Secondly, the “wave” might mean more than one device.
Those two predictions are somewhat true – as Samsung themselves confirmed that it’s the Galaxy A (2017), and it’s both dust and water resistant. Also, there will be two variants of the Samsung Galaxy A (2017) – the Galaxy A5 which is priced at RM 1,699, and the Galaxy A7 which is priced at RM 1,899.
As of now, Samsung did not reveal the official specs for both the Samsung Galaxy A (2017) smartphones yet. From all we can see, it’ll be using a USB-C charging port and it has a 3.5mm audio jack. We’ll surely keep you posted when we know more.
Pre-orders start on 6th January at 10am until 15th January 2017 at selected participating outlets. To celebrate the Samsung Galaxy A (2017)’s grand launch, every unit purchased during this pre-order sale will receive a unit of the Samsung Level U Pro – a pair of wireless headphone worth RM 399.
