It’s the month of April and everyone is releasing brand new laptops with the latest 8th Gen processors from Intel. The Thunderobot 911 series were quickly updated. Current Thunderobot laptops are refreshed, and they also release two new laptops – the 911S and 911 Air.
The new Thunderobot 911S has a specially designed 180W power supply, which delivers sufficient power to fuel the processor even faster. Thunderobot claims that the 911S “can perform 10% faster than a typical 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor”. With that much power, cooling will have to be great too. The 911S comes with three 8mm diameter of pure copper heatpipes and two fans.
It has a brushed aluminum chassis and customizable RGB – because everything must have customizable RGB now. The Thunderobot 911S also has a beefy NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5, a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rate, 16GB DDR4-2400 RAM, 128GB M.2 PCIe SSD and 1TB HDD of storage, fast 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Measures at only 25mm in thickness and weighs 2.4kg. Thin, light, and powerful.
As for the Thunderobot 911 Air, it has a 5mm side bezel and 13mm top bezel, offering an immersive viewing experience with a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display in a smaller footprint. Much like how smartphones are with the higher screen-to-body ratio thanks to FullView displays. The 911 Air measures at only 20mm at its thickest point and weighs 2.0kg.
The Thunderobot 911 Air comes with 8th Gen Intel Core i7 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB GDDR5, 802.11ac WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. As for storage, it comes with 128GB M.2 PCIe SSD and 1TB HDD storage. Again, it has customizable RGB keyboard and has a number pad too.
Thunderobot also refreshed their DINO, 911GT, and ST Plus with Intel’s 8th Gen processor too.
