MSI just announced their brand new lineup of gaming laptops with 8th Gen Intel processors – now with even more power! Featuring the new thin and light GS65 Stealth Thin (hence the name), the GE Raider RGB Edition, and also the wondrous GT75 Titan with the supremely powerful Core i9 processor.
GS65 Stealth Thin
The brand new MSI GS65 Stealth Thin. It’s parked in the “gaming ultrabook” category, and it features a 144Hz 7ms IPS display with 4.9mm-thin bezels too. It manages to achieve 82% screen-to-body ratio. Even with a thin bezel, MSI managed to cramp in the webcam above the screen, so that it wouldn’t show your double chin when you use it.
To power the 144Hz panel, the Stealth Thin is equipped with up to a GTX 1070 with NVIDIA Max-Q technology and the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor. These two core components will kick off a lot of heat, and thus the MSI Cooler Boost Trinity cooling design in the GS65 will ensure the thermals are kept in check.
The brand new GS65 Stealth Thin comes with beautiful golden accent and trim to make the smallest details of the laptop glint. Weighing in at only 1.8KG, it manages to pack an 82Wh battery that can go up to 8+ hours of battery life into its slim chassis, providing real portability.
The Stealth Thin also features a new per-key RGB keyboard designed by SteelSeries. Users can customize each key and receive real-time game status through keyboard lighting. MSI is also rolling out a massive update for Dragon Center 2.0 that comes with an exclusive gaming mode. The redesign brings a sleek new UI that promises intuitiveness while still offering advanced configurations for power users. The gaming mode now optimizes system performance and game-specific keyboard lighting for a list of supported new titles.

GE Raider RGB Edition
The new GE63/73 Raider RGB Edition is inspired by sports cars and the PC Master Race’s love for RGB – because it’s really shiny and bling all the way through. There’s RGB on the lid itself, the keyboard, and even the USB ports. Its lid has 24 separate zones of RGB lighting with more than 16.8 million colors available.

GT75 Titan with i9 Hexacore Processor
The true monster of a laptop – the brand new GT75. It literally is a desktop replacement – because it is even more powerful than many of the desktops out there right now. It features an Intel Core i9 overclocked processor into a laptop.
In case you don’t need the i9 overclocked processor, you can opt for the Intel Core i7 instead.
It packs lots of power – and thus, high TDP too. It uses the MSI’s Cooler Boost Titan cooling design, the 6C/12T configuration results in up to a 70% performance leap over the previous Core i7. The extra cores are especially beneficial for gamers who stream their gameplay, or for advanced multitasking workloads like video editing or rendering. Pretty much handles everything beyond gaming.
I’ve personally done a typing test on the GT75 – and the keyboard is actually using tactile and clicky switches – like Cherry MX Blue. Just a brief test here reveals that the keyboard is surprisingly softer than typical MX Blue, and its click is at a softer volume.
