A security group called AV-Test just went through a full 18 months of search engine testing to see which search engine returns the least malware. Out of the four search engines tested – Yandex, Bing, Google and Blekko – Google returned results the most efficiently – as in the smallest website tested-to-malware ratio.
The agony here is that Google isn’t working with any other antimalware or antivirus company – they’re entirely on their own on this.
