Wedding is supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime event and meant to be as special as it can be. People spend thousands to hire photographers and videographers to create the most beautiful video to immortalize this special day – but Hadi & Farah had a big problem with their wedding video. For the past few days, Malaysians all over had been sharing this particular video on social media.
The video had quite a lot of issues. A few things that many people pointed out. First of all is the music choice, where a song about breakup is chosen, then a Metallica track, and lastly, Evanescence’s My Immortal.
Seriously though, it’s a wedding video – why would Christina Perri’s Jar Of Hearts be chosen? Many comments were also made about the 3D objects imposed on the video and the blurring effect that was wonky at best and also overused.
The post was originally posted by Farah, the bride, and the post went viral.
Honor Malaysia is quick to respond to this debacle that went viral by offering Hadi & Farah to get in contact with Honor Malaysia because Honor Malaysia wants to give them a brand new Honor 8X smartphone.

Hadi & Farah has gotten in contact with Honor Malaysia and they’ve also conversed via Facebook. Farah also shared her thoughts about the whole incident here.
The Honor 8X is still not officially released in Malaysia yet – but it’s coming soon. We think that Honor Malaysia’s quick response to this incident and taking the extra mile to make the couple happy is a good marketing stunt and it’s just wholesome in general.
Let’s hope that Hadi & Farah is able to obtain the raw video footages of their wedding so that they can edit it for themselves or find another 3rd party company to do it for them. We already saw some good samaritans volunteering to edit for them.
