Nokia hardly made it to the headlines again since its release of the Lumia 920, but this time its return might be due to its replacement – this time with the Nokia’s very own 41MP sensor
Sources say that Nokia is testing two versions of the upcoming phone, one with a dual-core processor and another with a quad-core processor. It might be ironic since Nokia said that WP8 doesn’t need the power of a quad-core processor.
Given such a high pixel-count sensor, there are no signs that the upcoming Nokia flagship phone will feature 2K or 4K video recording. If you don’t know what resolutions are, 2K is 2048 × 1080 and 4K is 3840 × 2160. Either of these resolutions are already straining high end laptops to death, as consumer software aren’t exactly compatible with it yet.
A list of specs on the upcoming Nokia flagship phone is as below :
- Dual/Quad Core
- 41Mp, OIS, LED, Xenon
- +/- Variable Aperture
- FM Transmitter,
- AMOLED 1280 x 768 screen
- 2000 mAh battery
- detailed camera interface
- initial launch on At&t
