ASUS Malaysia just had quite a crazy announcement with AMD. Today, they unveiled an entirely new range of laptops that are powered by AMD Ryzen chips and they’re coming to the Malaysian market. The new FX505 also has an NVIDIA GPU yet has a starting price of RM2,899. Yes – that’s a crazy low price!
The new slew of announcement spans from their premium line with the ROG Zephyrus G GA502 to the affordable ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 and to the incredibly thin and light VivoBook Ultra A412 and the ZenBook Flip 14 UM462. All of these laptops are currently powered by AMD chips and to that I say it’s good. More competition in the market means we consumers will benefit from their battle of having the lowest price and best innovation.
Zephyrus G GA502
Continuing the trend of being the thinnest ever gaming laptop in the market, the new Zephyrus G GA502 now packs AMD Ryzen CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce GPU on a thin body. With it comes a Ryzen 7-3750H CPU and also a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q GPU, paired with an optional 120Hz display.
With this 4-core 8-threads CPU, ASUS claims that this laptop is able to run for up to 7 hours.

ASUS TUF FX505
I have always been a fan of the TUF series of laptops. It’s really affordable and packed with great hardware. Now, ASUS is upping the ante with its new refreshed FX505 that is once again powered by AMD and NVIDIA. With up to an AMD Ryzen 7-3750H with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, the new TUF FX505 means serious business as it can handle real-time ray-tracing without a hitch.
Best of all, the starting price of the new FX505 is at RM2,899 only. Damn that’s cheap.
