This year is HONOR Malaysia’s 5th anniversary and they’re really throwing a big party to celebrate this. HONOR Malaysia gives us customers the benefit too – and the latest addition to that list of benefits is another year of extended warranty.
Yes – for selected HONOR smartphones, you are entitled to 2 years of warranty. This is in part to the new campaign that they’re calling “Rileks, Beli Je“. I mean, with two years’ worth of warranty, there truly is nothing to worry about. The smartphones that are entitled to this extended warranty are:
- HONOR 20 Lite (review)
- HONOR 20 (review)
- HONOR View20 (review)
- HONOR 20 Pro (launching soon, review coming soon)
Here are the T&C and steps to redeem your extra 1 year warranty:
- All smartphones must be purchase within 22nd July – 30th September 2019.
- The warranty extension can be redeemed via HiCare app on the smartphone
- Launch the HiCare application (pre-installed) on your HONOR device, click on the “Extended Warranty Plan” banner at the top of the screen
- Update HiCare version as prompted by the system
- ID is required to redeem the Extended Warranty Plan
- Click on “Click Here Now” to redeem your Extended Warranty Plan. Customer shall claim his entitlement for the said extended warranty (additional 1 year) within 7 days from purchase.
- Application to confirm Extended Warranty Plan redeemed successfully
- This extended warranty covers repair costs with HONOR official maintenance standards and 100% original spare parts.

Also, HONOR Malaysia is now having yet another promotion for their flagship smartphone! The HONOR View20 (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) can now be purchased at RM1,999. The HONOR 20 Lite (4GB RAM + 128GB storage) can also be purchased at RM899.

The HONOR Malaysia Rileks, Beli Je 1+1 Year Extended Warranty Campaign period has been extended to 31 December 2019 for the HONOR 20 and HONOR 20 Pro smartphones – so you can buy it now and enjoy both extended warranty and also Google apps and services!
That means you get a total of 2 years worth of warranty – and that’s always a good thing.
