Nubia announced something out of the ordinary last year – the Nubia X. It’s a smartphone with two screens, one at the front, and another at the back. This smart design is now making a return as the Nubia Z20, the company’s latest smartphone with dual displays.
When the notched display first arrived in the world, Android smartphone makers have been hard at work to maximize the screen-to-body ratio. Nubia solved this by not having a selfie camera at all – which means there is no notch. To take selfies, you’ll have to flip the phone and use the camera at the back. Smart design.
But that’s not all. The new Nubia Z20 now has the latest and greatest specs that Android has to offer:

Let’s talk about the phone itself for a moment. The Nubia Z20 takes an interesting approach to the bezelles display conundrum. Why not just use the rear-facing cameras for selfies? Add another display to see what you’re shooting, and done. There are no motors in the phone, which means zero mechanical failure after years of usage.
Moreover, the rear-facing cameras are always better than any selfie cameras in the market – so it’s a natural solution to the bezelles display conundrum. This is also the only phone with a side fingerprint scanner on both sides of the phone. That means it exponentially increases security! 👌
Interestingly, the Nubia Z20 can also record videos in 8K resolution or in HDR10 video format too. Also, the rear-display can be used to be custom mapped as triggers for games. Who needs physical triggers when the back display can do that anyway?
