Vivo Malaysia has announced the official arrival of the Vivo S1 Pro, priced at RM1,199. The smartphone in itself seems to be a fairly decent one when we analyzed the specs.
The Vivo S1 Pro should be available nationwide in all stores – including Lazada, Shopee, and even PrestoMall, starting today.
Back to the specs – the Vivo S1 Pro comes with this hardware:
- 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with waterdrop notch
- 2340×1080 pixels in resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD)
- Quadruple rear-facing cameras
- Main: 48 MP f/1.8 with PDAF

- Macro: 2MP f/2.4
- Depth sensor
- 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera

By looking at the specs, the Vivo S1 Pro is actually pretty decently-specced. The Snapdragon 665 is a decent chipset that is great for everyday use while providing a decent level of performance. Combining with the 4,500mAh battery, the Vivo S1 Pro can definitely last more than a day.
Vivo Malaysia priced it at RM1,199 and I think it’s pretty fair considering the specs that it offers. Comparing it with other smartphones with similar specs, the Vivo S1 Pro has an advantage with its larger battery. That extra 500mAh battery is important for many people.
