As we know now, the Galaxy S20 series will be officially unveiled on 11th February, as Samsung has already announced the dates. Given that there’s only less than a month from the announcement day, the Galaxy S20 series of smartphones are already in the production stage – and hence, all of the hardware and software have already been determined.

And now this is prime time for leaks as Max Weinbach of XDA Developers have shown us a working engineering sample already. We had a Galaxy S20 rumor roundup before this – and you can click here to know about that.

Then, a new revelation was unveiled as the Galaxy S20 specs was reportedly leaked in its entirety. Well, not the entire lineup – but only the 5G variant of the Galaxy S20 series of smartphones.

According to MySmartPrice who claimed to have “an exclusive report”, was able to get the full list of specs of all the 3 different models of the Galaxy S20 series of smartphones.

It is with this “exclusive report” that we got the confirmation of a few key specs – like the 108MP sensor being available only on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The current leaks of having a total of 3 cameras up to 8K video recording holds water thus far. The ToF camera is present on both the Galaxy S20 Ultra and also the Galaxy S20 Plus. Ice Universe also tweeted about this:

I truly wonder if this is real. It will be amazing to see 100x zoom on a smartphone. I’m interested to see if Samsung’s new Super Steady stabilization (as shown on the Galaxy S10 Lite) works with 100x zoom.

What’s new here is the 40MP selfie camera. So far, no leaks or rumors talked about this.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra hands on leak

It also seems like the Galaxy S20 Ultra is going to be humongous as it uses a 6.9-inch display. It can be quite unwieldy to use with one hand. Also, the microSD card slot seems to be present as well.

Samsung is also upping the ante here as the Galaxy S20 series will be packed with up to 5,000mAh battery – which is definitely great to have. It is definitely not the heaviest smartphone, but definitely up there.

As of now, all of these are allegedly “exclusive reports” claiming to be the real deal. We know MySmartPrice, Ice Universe, and Max Weinbach have good track records when it comes to leaks – but we still have to wait for the official announcement from Samsung.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the Galaxy S20 series this February 11th.

UPDATE: Max Weinbach of XDA Developers tweeted this out

It seems like Samsung has done a lot of optimization to the image signal processor (ISP) so that it is able t otake the picture at 108MP natively with minimal lag.

Max Weinback, who has been a very reliable source on leaks, tweeted this out.

It raises more questions that answers, actually. We’re not sure if the Galaxy S20 Ultra in question is using the Exynos or Snapdragon chipset, as they both have different ISPs. Maybe Samsung created an external custom ISP so that both Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets have same camera speed for 108MP?
