The Samsung Galaxy S20 series was officially unveiled a few hours ago – and now we have all the details that we need to know about this brand new smartphone – including its price and pre-order bonuses.
The pre-order bonus is pretty straightforward. Both the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra will receive the new Galaxy Buds+ that is worth RM599. Remember that this is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Samsung mentioned in the terms and conditions that there will only be 13,000 units nationwide across all participating outlets.
The pre-order starts from today, 12th February 2020 at 5pm until 26th February 2020. The participating outlets are as below:
- Maxis
- Celcom
- Digi
- YTL
- U Mobile
- Senheng
- SenQ
- Harvey Norman
- Courts
- Urban Republic
- Best Denki
- Samsung official Lazada store
- Samsung official Shopee store

By the way, all of the Galaxy S20 series comes with 128GB of internal storage. The prices are as such:
- Galaxy S20 with 8GB RAM @ RM3,599. 4G only.
- Galaxy S20+ with 8GB RAM @ RM3,999. 4G only.
- Galaxy S20 Ultra with 12GB RAM @ RM4,999. 5G only.
I would have to say, the price is much lower than the US pricing counterpart. That is why we never directly convert the prices from USD to MYR, because the local pricing is vastly different.
Also, the Galaxy Buds+ is surprisingly affordable as its price is lower than the Sudio Fem that we have reviewed here. We’re particularly interested with the Galaxy Buds+ since there are leaks pointing to having the “gaming mode” but was not mentioned during the Unpacked event.
We will definitely be testing its audio latency when we get our hands on the review unit of the Galaxy Buds+.
