Starting with a quick recap, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series will have its roadshow promotion this 6th to 8th March 2020. Within this roadshow promo, a few insane deals are happening but we know, there is confusion surrounding the terms and conditions.

Up until now, everything seems clear – purchasing the Galaxy S20 smartphone during the roadshow at these locations and we can get the Wireless Charger Pad with a 128GB microSD card. Be one of the first to queue in line and get the free 50-inch 4K smart TV too.
However, throughout comments and messages that you’ve sent in, we realized a few other concerns that we want to address.

How many gifts can I redeem?
If you’re one of the early birds, then you’re eligible for these two:
- Tier 1
- Promotion A: 50-inch 4K smart TV + 128GB microSD card + Wireless Charger Pad
- Promotion B: RM400 beta with any camera + 128GB microSD card + Wireless Charger Pad
Once all the early bird gifts are gone, then it’ll be this:
- Tier 2
- 128GB microSD card + Wireless Charger Pad
As usual, it’s while stocks last.
How many TVs can I redeem?
One. One per person, as stated in the terms and conditions.
Each Customer can only redeem one (1) unit of the 50″ Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV regardless of the number of units of Samsung Galaxy S20 series purchased.
However, there will only be a total of 50 units for immediate collection. The remaining units will be delivered after the roadshow. Remember to pass your contact details to the personnel at the roadshow.
Only fifty (50) units of complimentary gifts are available for immediate collection at the Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur roadshow. After the limited units have been fully redeemed, Customer will be required to give their contact details to arrange for the delivery of the complimentary gift after the
roadshow.
If you really want that TV on the spot, then make sure you’re within the first 50 people. Else, I think it’s more convenient for the TV to be delivered to your doorstep. I mean, carrying a TV through the mall isn’t exactly something I’ll call fun or convenient.
“Trade-in any camera” – even my old smartphone?
During the Galaxy S20 grand launching in Malaysia, Samsung showed this image which implies that we can take our old smartphones and qualify for that RM400 instant rebate.
From the terms and conditions, it states that we can use any device with a functioning camera to get the RM400 rebate.
The camera can be any electronic device with a camera function.
That means we can take any device with at least one camera and be eligible for the RM400 rebate. This means we can also take these items and qualify for the rebate:
- DSLR
- Smartphone
- Dashcam
If the device has a camera and it still works, then you can get the RM400 rebate.
Can pre-order customers redeem the gifts too?
There were many different avenues to pre-order the Galaxy S20 smartphones but no one wants to miss out on that free 50-inch 4K smart TV.
Now, pre-order customers can redeem the Samsung 50-inch 4K smart TV too! Just present your pre-order confirmation email from Samsung, the iPay88 deposit payment receipt, and the Golden Ticket.
1. Pre-Order Customer who has chosen to collect their pre-ordered device at the roadshow are eligible to be one of the first in queue to redeem the Samsung 50” Smart TV, with the Pre-Order Confirmation email from Samsung and the iPay88 deposit payment receipt as well as the Golden Ticket.
2. Pre-Order Customer who has already collected their device earlier is also eligible to be one of the first in queue to redeem the Samsung 50” Smart TV, with the pre-ordered device, proof of purchase with device IMEI stated, the Pre-Order Confirmation email from Samsung as well as the Golden Ticket.
3. The IMEI number of the physical device and on the purchase receipt must match for the Customer to be eligible. Each IMEI can only be used to redeem the complimentary gift(s) once.
4. Pre-Order Customer is also entitled to redeem the Samsung 128GB microSD memory card via Samsung Redemption Management System (RMS) URL link: www.samsung-redemption.com/my/login.
But what if you pre-ordered from other Samsung partners and you don’t have the pre-order confirmation email? We raised that concern with Samsung Malaysia and it says that any pre-order purchases which do not have a confirmation email – like from Lazada or Shopee – then just the receipt with the device’s IMEI number will suffice.
That means all pre-order customers can still redeem the TV if you don’t have the confirmation email. 😁
Please be cautious too
There will be a lot of people during the roadshow. Stay hygienic by cleaning your hands and also wear a mask. Bring a bottle of hand sanitizer to spray on your hands to keep clean.
You can never be too safe when it comes to health.
