Today, HONOR has announced that the Magic UI 3.0 update will arrive accordingly in batches to HONOR 20 PRO, View20 and 9X users while HONOR 10 Lite and 20 Lite will receive the update in May.
The launcher update will introduce a refreshed interface design targeted towards younger user base design with several user-friendly features to make up a smart ecosystem within a single device. Through the wide-ranging smart products and services by HONOR, it is capable of thriving within tasks such as photography or smart offices through its performance, and securities.
HONOR Magic UI 3.0 Highlights
First off, the most requested feature for all the OLED maniacs out there is finally here, the Dark Mode. The effect of black backgrounds is better reflected within OLED displays as they consume draw less power by completely dimming out each individual pixel and reduce burn-ins as well. The color saturation will be finetuned to ensure greater consistency between the standard and Dark Mode.
Next up is the changes to visual elements such as smoother transition and animation that follows the input consistently. It is a key way of improving visual feedback by finetuning animation physics associated with swiping and touching. The overall navigation experience should feel snappier through this update.
For smart office optimizations and provide a better and seamless user experience across mobile devices and, HONOR devices will be able to pair with laptops through NFC or WiFi and setup using QR codes or Bluetooth interface and users will be able to transfer files or play music.
The cameraman will be in for a surprise as filters can be applied before taking a shot so no more post-processing or extra work when taking vintage or black and white photos are more convenient than ever.
Lastly, security performance will be elevated as well with their Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) OS certified with CC EAL5+ to perform data-sensitive operations such as payment and authentication.

- Open Settings.
- Click on System.
- Click on Software Update.
- Click on Check For Updates.
- Click on Download and install.
