Over the past few days, we’ve seen pictures of the BTS variants of the Samsung Galaxy S20+ and also the Galaxy Buds+. They’re in this new purple color and Samsung did have a bit of fun with the design, too. Both the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition and the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition will be available in Malaysia too – which is quite surprising.
Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition
The Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition features a brand new design overall. It features a purple glass and metal exterior, and Samsung had a bit of fun too. They added a purple heart shape at the camera bump – which is just a nice touch. There’s also a BTS logo underneath the Samsung logo.
Samsung also made a custom BTS theme for the UI, so that it matches the overall purple aesthetics of the Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition. It also comes with the fan community platform, Weverse, pre-installed. Because this is the ultimate smartphone that a BTS fan can buy.
To top it all off, Samsung is also including decorative stickers to allow fans to further personalize their devices, and photo cards featuring pictures of the band members for fans to keep.
We’ve reviewed both the Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S20 Ultra – and the Galaxy S20+ is pretty much an in-between of those two devices. I have to say, the Galaxy S20+ is a very compelling offer – especially since it is available in this purple color.
The Galaxy S20+ BTS Edition will be available at the price of RM4,399.
Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition
Samsung also made the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition to complement the new phone too. And now, everything is purple. It seems to be in this darker matte purple color which I actually kinda like. And once again, Samsung added a purple heart shape on the charging case itself.
Samsung also included photo cards of the band in the box together with the Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition as a keepsake for fans.
We’ve already reviewed the Galaxy Buds+ here and we only have this to say – it can be tuned to however we want it to be thanks to the easy-to-use app that Samsung made. There’s an EQ which lets us fully control how we want to listen to our music.
Better yet, the battery life is insanely great this time, too. Perhaps a few BTS albums on replay within a single charge?
