Huawei Malaysia has announced that they are bringing the Huawei MateBook 14 to us on October 30 and by placing a preorder, you’ll get freebies to consist of Huawei FreeBuds 3, a backpack, and a Bluetooth mouse.
The laptop comes equipped with either the AMD Ryzen 5 4600H or Ryzen 7 4800H with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe storage for maximized performance and portability that weighs in at only 1.49kg and a maximum thickness of 15.9mm. Exclusive to the Ryzen 7 4800H model, the FullView Display is also a touch-enabled panel that supports a three-finger swipe gesture that operates much like a smartphone.
I should also mention that “FullView Display” here means that it’s using a 3:2 aspect ratio screen, just like the MateBook X Pro that we reviewed earlier this year.
To eliminate the needs of bringing along too much power bricks during travel, the laptop charger apparently is a 2-in-1 type that lets you charge the device alongside your smartphone at the same time. Other notable features include a fingerprint scanner and direct mirroring of Huawei smartphones with the Multi-Screen collaboration function.
