Samsung’s lineup of flagship smartphones are insanely featureful – but particularly with the latest Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Samsung packed in even more features into the smartphone, making it the must-have productivity companion device.
It’s versatile in every aspect that you can ever imagine. From work to play, and even to document your everyday life. It’s a culmination of all the different aspects that make it unique.
The Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the only smartphone in the market right now that is equipped with the most sophisticated stylus – the S Pen. It can now reach down to 9ms of latency and thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate screen, it is just buttery smooth like we’re really writing on pen and paper.
It can be really precise – which is why we can do precise writing and drawings on our pictures and screenshots to convey information accurately.
And best of all, the Galaxy Note20 series also has something new called Pro Video mode. It offers the option to manually adjust the ISO, shutter speed, focus, white balance, and even what microphone you want to use to record audio with.
All of these can be recorded in 4K 60fps – in highest 8K with natural motion blur of 24fps, then edited on the phone itself with no additional app required. The S Pen once again offers precision cuts and effects – and why not include some writings and stickers to add some charm? Maybe add some filters and background music too?
I’ll let you see how I filmed the video.

The Galaxy Note20 Ultra with the S Pen and Pro Video mode brings a whole new meaning to mobile videography. We can use it to do precise edits to the video, making it turn out exactly how I imagined in my mind.

And here is the final result of what I actually made on the phone in less than 5 minutes. I can directly upload it to social media instantly.

And hey – the S Pen also has something called Air Gestures. Since the S Pen is now connected to the phone wirelessly via Bluetooth LE, we can literally draw gestures on air to launch the camera, change it to the selfie camera, and then take a shot. All of these can be done without even touching the phone at all.
The Galaxy Note20 Ultra is also equipped with a powerful chipset which we can obviously play games on. Here’s the gaming performance of the Galaxy Note20 Ultra, in case you have concerns.
And since the Galaxy Note20 Ultra does have HDMI output via its USB-C port, we can also stream games via OBS by using a capture card. We have another tutorial on how to do it.
Also, we did a very thorough review of the Galaxy Note20 Ultra and over the months, I still think that the Note20 Ultra is definitely phone-of-the-year material.
