Tune Protect has announced a new collaboration with BOXKU, the Malaysian mobile app-based parcel consolidator, and shipping solution provider in Malaysia for China e-commerce platforms and retailers such as Taobao, JD.com, Tmall, and more.

Tune Protect BOXKU Collab

Through this partnership, online shoppers can now apply for consignment insurance for the items purchased on the aforementioned e-commerce site directly on the BOXKU mobile app. The premium starts from just RM1 that scales according to the total item value of the particular parcel with coverage reaching up to RM250,000. For an easy way of calculation, the insured value would be roughly 110% of the parcel’s value which can be fully claimed in the event of loss or non-delivery of the package that only cost you RM1 for the charged premium.

Online shopping has increasingly become the most popular method to buy anything in this day and age but in terms of package safety and protection-related matters, the policies involved are still not clear, strict, and widely covered with each platform having its own set of rules and standards. But with Tune Protect and BOXKU making a step in this, Malaysian shoppers that frequent Chinese e-commerce platforms will be in peace as their purchase experience can at least be guaranteed with the consignment insurance program.
