Samsung just announced a slew of products – and here’s the summary of all of them. We also made a video running through all of the details – which can be watched here.
By the way, there’s no charger included. That’s confirmed.
In short, there are 3 main products announced during this Unpacked event. Here, we’re going to talk about the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ only. They’re both quite similar to each other.
All of the Galaxy S21 phones will be powered by the new Exynos 2100 (which we talked about it here). There is no 4G variants this time since the Exynos 2100 has built-in 5G.
Both the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ are very similar in terms of their design and also color options (the Galaxy S21+ does not have pink color), but the battery size of the Galaxy S21+ got bumped all the way up to 4,800mAh.
The Galaxy S21 has a 6.2-inch screen whereby the Galaxy S21+ has a bigger 6.7-inch screen and can go up to 120Hz refresh rate and down to 48Hz to save battery. However, from what we realized, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are only at 1080p resolution this time around. Honestly, that’s not an issue since I use my phones at 1080p all the time even though I have the option to go 1440p.
Here’s a quick rundown on the specs for the Malaysian versions of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+.

Personally speaking, I’m really liking the violet, pink (S21 only), and obviously – the matte black color options of the S21 and S21+. Samsung is once again pushing the boundaries on how a smartphone design should be, and offer a unique look once again.
It’ll be immediately distinctive when we take a quick glance at the phone – especially with its unique back.

The Galaxy S21+ also seems to have gotten a big upgrade – particularly on the battery – which I’m really pleased to see.
As of now, we still do not have the pricing or availability of the Galaxy S21 series of smartphones just yet. We’ll update this page when we have the information.
