vivo has announced the arrival of the vivo Y31 smartphone in Malaysia with a big screen and big batteries.
With a 3D shade printed back, the device fights for a spot in the lower-midrange market where the competition and price fights are getting fiercer with each new device release. Can this survive the battle at the very least? Let’s see what it has to offer.
- 6.58-inch IPS LCD Display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 662chipset
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB storage
- Quad rear-facing cameras
- Main: 48MP f/1.8 with PDAF
- Macro: 2MP f/2.4
- Depth Sensor
- Selfie camera: 16MP f/2.0
- 5,000mAh battery
- USB Type-C 18W Wired Charging
- Headphone Jack
- Racing Black, Ocean Blue Color
- RM999
We have seen better offerings than this with greater battery capacity at a lower price, despite that factor being the most eye-catching point of this device. Unless you really love or being used to the FunTouch OS, otherwise I don’t see this stand out from the rest of the competition.
Pricing and Availability
Beginning March 6, the vivo Y31 will become available at all vivo concept stores and authorized dealers as well as vivo’s official web store, Shopee, and Lazada for online purchases.
