Since the new iPhone 12 series do not come with chargers, many people are seeking either an alternative or reusing their old chargers and old cables. USB-PD is a widely-adopted charging standard and that means you can charge a lot of other devices at 20W with this charger. Even if your device doesn’t support 20W fast-charging via USB-PD, then fret not – the charger will adjust itself and lower down its power to continue charging your device.
The packaging of this Ugreen 20W USB-C charger is also very simple – just a very plain and thin cardboard box and a user manual – that’s it. I doubt anyone actually needs a user manual, though.
What I truly like about this Ugreen 20W USB-C charger is its compact size. This charger can literally fit inside my bag and I won’t even know that I have a charger inside.
It’s also wrapped in glossy white plastic – which matches Apple’s aesthetics. The USB-C port is pointed downwards which to some, might not be enough since there is only one single output.
If you need more ports for your device charging station, then I suggest you to take a look at the Ugreen 65W GaN charger which has a total of 4 different output ports.
All in all, I think that the Ugreen 20W USB-C charger is sufficient for those who just want a charger to charge their phone and nothing else. It works as advertised – and that’s all that matters.
