Over the weekend, Xiaomi Malaysia launched the latest affordable smart band, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7.
Running the usual oblong shape design, the screen is getting an enlargement treat as the previous one clocks in at 1.56-inch while the Smart Band 7 is at 1.62-inch and is still the full AMOLED panel goodness. As such, everything either becomes larger for easy viewing or more information can be included in one go – more advantages in any sense you can list out.
3 additional parameters are included and updated for the app as well which are the Training Load, Recovery Duration, and Training Effect to help users evaluate and adjust workout intensity and schedules with greater control and planning. Parameters aren’t the only new guy as the new VO₂ max professional workout analysis performs the task of oxygen measurement during exercises too.
The usual health monitoring is still up and running like heart rate, SpO₂, and sleeping while other parameters are pretty much the same across the last few generations, particularly the up to 14-day battery life, 5ATM water resistance, 100+ watch faces, and a multitude of colorful straps to choose from.

Available from purchase starting right now, you can get the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 at the price of RM169 from Shopee and Lazada if you buy it as soon as possible because it will bounce back to its original RRP of RM199 without you realizing it!
