A couple of months ago, OPPO’s latest flagship, the Find X5 series, was in the spotlight for getting low-light shots at incredible standards and quality thanks to the integration of a Neutral Processing Unit called the MariSilicon X. Now, the brand is bringing it to the Reno lineup starting with the Reno8 family.

Although not really equipped with the most premium class of lenses and whatnot, the Reno8 series’s Dual Flagship Sony Camera System running the IMX709 sensor can still take on various lowlight portrait photography, or video if you desired thanks to the 4K Ultra Night Video feature.

Using a combination of HDR Fusion and AI Noise Reduction to remove unwanted noises, 1080p footage is reportedly 4 times clearer than traditional video while lowlight selfies from all sorts of angles like close-up or wide-angle are easy peasy for it.

The OPPO Reno8 series will be announced in Malaysia soon and the devices are reported to use a variety of SoC from MediaTek.
