HUAWEI Malaysia has announced the general availability of the newly refreshed MateBook D 16 and MateBook 16s laptops for 2022.
For one, the MateBook D 16 returns with slight refinements here and there. With 16-inches becoming more popular in the lightweight laptops market due to the better experience in online education, video calls, and general work, everyone is finding one that is affordable and up to date.
The 2022 edition of this device sees the use of the 12th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processor which offerings in Malaysia include the i5 and i7 variants to go with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of PCIe storage. These chips are known for their super-efficient performance that consumes less power for more performance when compared to the last gen.
The device has an improved wireless antenna design that is said to provide a more stable internet connection so there’s that.
On the other hand, the MateBook 16s is geared towards the professionals as it is priced at the higher echelon with more storage across the board, a larger display panel ratio at 3:2 instead of the usual 16:9, a more sleek and compact overall form factor. Choices of processor also lock onto the one and only i7-12700H because elite workers need only the very best I guess.
