Xiaomi Malaysia has released a slew of new products related to the AIoT family designed to make your daily lives surrounded by more tech and convenience.
We’ll first go through the actual “smart” devices because some aren’t really talking about the “smart”.
The main highlight of the launch event is none other than the Xiaomi TV A2 series which is their smartest home entertainment TV to date.
It is actually designed to support the AIoT system by acting as the central hub or dashboard to let users gain a full view and detailed access to every compatible smart appliance within the household.
But that doesn’t mean it does badly in its native job of being a TV. The 58-inch model delivers a crisp and vivid 4K video output with Dolby Vision augmented by Dolby Audio for surrounding spatial audio and DTS-HD as well.
Powered by Android TV, you can do the usual as well like launching a video streaming platform directly that includes Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube in addition to all the quirks you can launch within the Google Play Store.
Have some personal collection? Stream them directly via Chromecast from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
To make sure everyone from the cash whales down to normal people like you and me, the TVs have additional size options which are 32-inch and 43-inch.
Those looking for an air fryer that is more than a standard air fryer should take a look at the Mi Smart Air Fryer 3.5L which hosts more than 100 different recipe ideas so that you can just pop your ingredients and start cooking right away.
Like to manage temperatures by yourself, you can set it from a range of 40°C to 200°C directly on the unit itself or remotely.
For the audio department, the new Xiaomi Smart Speaker with IR Control comes with a rather small compact package that hosts a simple LED clock on top of the usual speaker unit.
The built-in IR transmitter module combined with Google Assistant can achieve full voice control of home appliances across multiple rooms and you can also connect seamlessly with multiple smart speakers or stream audio with just one click via Chromecast.
Next on the list is the Smart LED Ceiling Light which features a built-in Bluetooth gateway that enables an easy connection and control via the Xiaomi Home app and Apple Homekit.
With up to 3,000 lumens brightness and different modes such as Daylight and Moonlight, you can make them turn on automatically when doors are open and set up properly.
The last smart household item on the list is the Xiaomi Camera 2K with Magnetic Mount that records clear 2K resolution footage while serving as an intermediary to visitors thanks to the built-in microphone.
It also comes with AI-based human detection technology that effectively filters out false alarms so no worries about random pets triggering the sirens during midnight times.
Xiaomi Malaysia also took the chance to launch a couple of new TWS which are the Redmi Buds 4 Pro and Redmi Buds 4. Both are known for their long battery life between 30 to 36 hours together with their quick charging speed, these are great for those who are always on the run.
The difference between the base and Pro models is that the Pro will have a more aggressive charging graph to give more battery life in a short session in addition to the 3-microphone noise cancellation array compared to the base model’s 2-microphone setup.
Time to juice up your brushing game with the Xiaomi Electric Toothbrush T700 which comes with a new set of upgraded brush bristles, heads, and handles. Preserving the high-frequency vibration with multiple power adjustments, it has DuPont Staclean Brush wire, an LED smart display, personalized settings with the app, long battery life, and flexible charging.
Have long hair? The Xiaomi Water Ionic Hair Dryer H500 brings ionic water particles into the hair drying process to specifically remove just enough moisture to maintain a good shine.
The built-in condenser and two needle-shaped motors rapidly atomize tiny negative water ions which are then delivered to the hair, scalp, and root.
