Last week, Xiaomi Malaysia officially announced the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 for the local market.
As with most tablets, it will released in 2 versions where one is the standard WiFi model while the other supports SIM card to enable 4G internet connection to help users stay connected.
Other than that, this particular release basically adheres to the classic Redmi strategy of “entry-level or mid-tier bang-for-buck 3C electronics” that can do well in any task like work, productivity, gaming, entertainment, and more without blowing a big hole in one’s wallet.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is priced at RM599 for the 6GB+128GB WiFi model while the 4G variant goes for RM599 for 4GB+64GB and RM699 for 6GB+128GB. Highly recommend that you pay RM100 for the storage upgrade though.
Early bird promo includes a free cover for the WiFi model and 6GB+128GB 4G model while the 4GB+64GB 4G variant will go for RM549.
The promotion is available on the official website, Shopee, and Lazada starting today until September 1.
