Kingston has announced that they’ve won (yes, again) the title of “Leading 3rd-Party SSD Supplier” in the channel market for 2023.
The 7th win details the 34% total market capture against ADATA at just 11%, further emphasizing the importance of Kingston building an extensive global sales network, comprehensive SSD portfolio, and superior customer service.
The branded SSD retail market grew 3.7% year-over-year in 2023, reaching 118 million units thanks to users across the globe upgrading to larger capacity SSDs, particularly 2TB+ models, as the standard 256GB and 512GB drives in most PCs proved insufficient for gaming and high-performance applications. The replacement cycle of pandemic-era PCs also contributed to this growth.
In 2023, Kingston expanded its product lineup with the DC600M Enterprise SSD for mixed-use workloads and the compact, affordable XS1000 External SSD, complementing their successful XS2000 model. These additions helped Kingston achieve record-breaking SSD sales.
“We are honored to receive this top ranking once again”, said Kingston. “From the start, Kingston has remained committed to serving our customers and channel partners worldwide. These strong relationships have been key to the remarkable growth of our SSD business. This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team, and we are grateful to celebrate this recognition and success together.”
To celebrate this achievement, Kingston is offering up to 20% discounts and special promotions at their Official Stores on Shopee and Lazada, and at authorized partners from November 8-17. Customers can also enter to win a 55-inch Smart TV or RM300 Aeon Gift Voucher daily with any Kingston purchase.
