LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre is kicking off the holiday season in a big way this year, rolling out its LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays celebration that runs all the way until January 4 next year, so everyone has time to arrange and pay a visit to this special setup.
Visitors will be welcomed by the vast props and decorations filled with Pokémon, where Pikachu and the rest of the crew bring the festive vibes through games, activities, and plenty of surprises.
Blending both the mall and the world-class video game IP’s Japanese roots, they are aiming to bring the family-focused drive for fun and memorable moments through this collaboration.
Over the next five weeks, Pikachu becomes the star attraction, popping up every weekend for Meet-and-Greet sessions and walkabout appearances that add a bit of spontaneous fun around the mall.
At the same time, shoppers can jump into a holiday-themed Pokémon Sticker Collection quest, where eight new stickers are released each week across eight participating stores. All it takes is a minimum RM10 spend to redeem the sticker booklet, and with 40 stickers available throughout the campaign, completing the set nets fans an exclusive limited-edition sticker reward.
Those picking up Pokémon merchandise at the Ground Floor Main Atrium can also score a postcard that unlocks a free five-stamp mini-hunt, with stamp counters placed around the mall for another layer of exploration.
While hunting for stickers and stamps, visitors can check out multiple Pokémon-themed photo spots scattered across LaLaport BBCC. On the activity side, fans can learn the basics of the Pokémon Trading Card Game through free tutorials or try out the Nintendo Switch 2 demo of Pokémon Legends: Z-A for some hands-on action.
And to top it all off, themed pop-up stores round out the shopping experience with official Pokémon collectibles, while a nightly Pokémon-themed Christmas tree light show at the WoW Plaza wraps the day with a festive glow exclusive to LaLaport BBCC.
