OWC has officially locked in its spot at CES 2026, and it’s coming in strong with a wide range of Thunderbolt 5-compatible products that attendees can get hands-on with at Pepcom’s Digital Experience and ShowStoppers.
At the front of the lineup is OWC’s own first-party Thunderbolt 5 cable, coming in at a practical 2 meters and built to fully meet the Thunderbolt 5 spec. It supports 80Gbps bi-directional data transfer, can push up to 120Gbps of video bandwidth for setups running as many as three 8K displays, and delivers up to 240W of power over USB-C.
OWC is also emphasizing stronger signal integrity and precision shielding here, while keeping things simple with full cross-platform support and backward compatibility, meaning it can automatically fall back to older Thunderbolt and USB standards and work as a single-cable solution for both Mac and PC users.
Beyond the cable, OWC is also using CES to highlight products it rolled out earlier this year, including the StudioStack and the Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock.
The StudioStack is aimed squarely at creators who need speed and storage in one setup, combining high-speed connectivity with integrated storage that can hit transfer speeds of up to 6,302MBps, support up to 8TB of NVMe SSDs, up to 24TB of HDD storage, and offer a broad mix of I/O for demanding workflows.
Sitting alongside it is the Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock, which packs two independent 10GbE ports, an extra 2.5GbE port, and support for bonded connections that can reach up to 20Gb/s access to network-attached storage through a single Thunderbolt 5 link.
Rounding out OWC’s CES 2026 presence is Strada, its peer-to-peer collaboration platform designed for video professionals who are tired of moving massive files to and from the cloud. Instead of uploads, Strada lets editors access, share, and review large media files directly from local drives anywhere in the world.
They also plan to show off its patent-pending virtual file editing technology, where remote video files can be dragged straight into a local editing timeline, even over low-bandwidth connections, hinting at a very different approach to how distributed production teams might collaborate in the future.
