iQOO Malaysia just rolled out the new iQOO Z11 series smartphones, clearly aimed at students and younger users who are constantly on the move, by putting 2 models – the Z11 5G and the Z11x 5G – to cover both the mid-high range and affordable segment.
The main highlight is the Z11 5G that packs a massive 9020mAh battery, which is one of the biggest you’ll see on a phone right now, and it still keeps a relatively slim profile. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip for decent performance.
For the display, it is a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and high brightness, so it should be smooth and usable even outdoors. Add in dual speakers, a dedicated gaming antenna, and their “Monster Mode,”, one can definitely game with this, no problem.
The floating camera’s pretty cool too, while thermal performance is backed by a large 7K VC cooling system to control heat output. As for colors, you get Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black.
Meanwhile, the Z11x 55G is the budget option that comes with a Dimensity 7400 Turbo SoC, IPS LCD screen, and 7200mAh battery. It also keeps the same IP68/IP69 durability, which is nice to see at this level.
On the software side, both run OriginOS 6 with a promise of up to 5 years of smooth performance, plus multiple OS and security updates. There’s also a bunch of AI features like live captions, transcription tools, and document handling, with durability certified through the IP68/IP69 ratings, reinforced glass, and drop protection.
